Geld aus der Luft is a German musical comedy from 1954. Direction, screenplay and production are by Géza von Cziffra . The main actors were Josef Meinrad , Lonny Kellner and Grethe Weiser .

action

Stefan and Helga have been married for three months and want to get a divorce. The cause is Stefan's job as a propagandist . At night he accompanies the artists, from whom he is hiding his marriage, to a bar. There they drink wine and champagne. That's why Helga accuses Stefan of being unfaithful. Stefan, on the other hand, distrusts her because she suddenly has money. However, this is not due to a rich lover, but to a lottery win. In the course of the film, Stefan also discovers his wife's voice. In front of the head of the music publisher, he makes another official marriage proposal.

Production notes

The production company was Arion-Film from Hamburg, and the distribution was handled by the German London Film Verleih from Hamburg. The film was shot in the Hamburg-Wandsbek studio, the exterior shots were made in Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel . Herbert Kirchhoff and Albrecht Becker created the buildings, Otto Meißner was production manager.

The premiere took place on July 27, 1954 at the Apollo in Düsseldorf. The French premiere took place on July 26, 1957.

The lexicon of international films judged that the film offered "[the] average German entertainment from the hit cinema of the 50s".
