action

Ingeborg is new to the hospital. She works under the well-known heart surgeon Professor Burger. The assistant doctor is his son, who is a womanizer. A relationship develops between Ingeborg and Manfred and Ingeborg becomes pregnant. The professor sends his son away and fires Ingeborg. Then Manfred has a car accident. His father saves his life and there is a happy ending.

criticism

“The resistance of a famous surgeon to his son's love affair with a nurse is done away with by the birth of an illegitimate child, the mother's generosity, a car accident and other integral parts of German magazine novels of the 1950s. A great success with the public at the time. "
