Dangerous Guests is a German crime comedy from 1949 by Géza von Cziffra with Wolf Albach-Retty , Vera Molnar and Paul Kemp in the leading roles.
action
Peter Anders is an attractive man in his prime, but who has lived well beyond his means. Having squandered his money and now broke, the nonchalant bon vivant has no choice but to offer his last possessions, his chic villa, for sale. When Peter is away for several days, three somewhat stupid casual thugs - the stupid muscle man Boxer-Franz, the skinny pocket August and the heavily weighted Tango-Poldi - learn of Peter's absence and immediately settle in the Anders house. The odd musician Amadeus Strohmayer, who also serves as the caretaker, and his young niece Inge they pretend to be Peter's employees.
The trio of crooks, the “Dangerous Guests” mentioned in the film's title, believe they have a particularly smart idea, according to which, as long as Peter is still away, they will sell the property without further ado for their own account. But even though Amadeus seems a bit bogus and quirky, he doesn't let the three scoundrels lead him so easily on ice. Suddenly Peter reappears, and the events get more and more confused. Peter just wanted to see that everything was going well and immediately suspected that the “dangerous guests” could not be good. He therefore pretends to be one of your own, the fourth crook, so to speak. In the end, the three narrow-gauge criminals go to jail, and Peter has found Inge Strohmayer, his wife for life.
