Josefine, das liebeestolle Kitten is a German-Italian sex film comedy from 1969 by Géza von Cziffra with Barbara Capell in the title role.

action

Gymnastics teacher Karl-Heinz Hahn is accused of having exceeded his professional competencies by far and of having approached his students in an improper manner. These "sexual assaults" make waves far beyond the school and the blown up case develops into a scandal of the first order. Public Prosecutor Grundis, as they say a very "tough dog", wants to set an example and protect Hahn's guardians from this supposedly immoral fellow from now on. So Grundis brings a lawsuit in which he wants to call the precocious fruit Josefine Huber, a true cellar child with a libertine attitude and a rather dubious reputation, to the stand as a key witness.

Hahn's lawyer Dr. Falke intends to tackle the case in exactly the opposite way. He wants to portray Josefine Huber as a morally dubious slut who doesn't shed her clothes as quickly as one can count to three in order to completely question her credibility. In fact, the pretty, brunette girl is fully engaged in influencing the proceedings in her favor and pulls out all the stops to beguile both prosecutor and lawyer with her charms. And so she finally manages that in the end the case against Karl-Heinz Hahn, who she likes, is dropped.

Production notes

The strip produced by Artur Brauner was created between April 21 and May 20, 1969 in the CCC studios in Berlin. The premiere took place on August 15, 1969 in several German cities. It was director Cziffra's last production.

The buildings are by Walter Gold, the costumes by Ingrid Zoré . Helen Vita acted as off-speaker.

criticism

"In every way a clumsy sex game."

"With his [Cziffras] last directorial work, a sex plot with the all-telling title" Josefine, the dearest kitten ", he had reached its low point in 1969."

- Kay Less : Das Großes Personenlexikon des Films , Volume 2, p. 246. Berlin 2001

“This sexual theoretical contribution made up as a parody by a so-called old master of the film consists almost exclusively of ambiguities in word and image. The nice punch lines are unfortunately rare. Here, anti-morality is elevated to a principle. As entertainment only of modest value. "
