Landshut (Lower Bavaria) around 1986. The 20-year-old high school student Hans Kroll and his friend Toni are not model students. Instead, they are more interested in mopeds , taekwondo and pinball machines. That works until Hans meets Bettina, who is five years his senior, and falls in love with her. Bettina is the granddaughter of the old "biscuit" who owns the Landshut chocolate factory. It looks as if Hans' life is about to turn, but Wilfried Peters, Bettina's fiancé, throws a spanner in the works.
