They made it possible for Hans von Kusserow to receive profound dance training with Lyubow Egorova, Vera Kratina, Victor Gsovsky and Marie Rambert and sent him to the Royal Ballet School in London . In 1928 the 17-year-old made his debut at the Wroclaw City Theater . Then followed an engagement in Duisburg and numerous tours as a variety dancer. Kusserow also found international recognition as a choreographer in Göttingen , for example with his dance version of the opera Carmen by Georges Bizet in the orchestral version by Günther Weißenborn and Peter Rocholl .

He later worked in touring companies such as the Léonide Massines Balletto Europeo, the American Ballet Theater and often in domestic and foreign film productions.
