Hao Junmin ( Chinese : 蒿俊闵, Hāo Jùnmǐn) (born March 24, 1987 in Wuhan , China ) is a Chinese football player .

Career

Hao Junmin started his career at Hubei Wuhan Zhiye FC . From 2002 he played for Tianjin Teda , where he played with the professional squad in the top division, the Chinese Super League , from 2004 and made his first division debut at the age of 17. He was named Young Player of the Year by the Chinese Football Association in 2005 and 2007. During the winter break of the 2009/2010 season he moved to Germany for FC Schalke 04 , where he received a contract that was valid until June 30, 2011, but which was extended to June 30, 2013 prematurely.

His first game for the "Knappen" completed Hao on February 10, 2010 in the quarterfinals of the DFB Cup , when he came on in the 1-0 victory over VfL Osnabrück in the 87th minute for Vicente Sánchez . On February 21, 2010 (23rd matchday), in the 1: 2 defeat in the away game at VfL Wolfsburg , he made his Bundesliga debut; Due to the failure of the yellow- banned Rafinha he was in the starting line-up, but was replaced in the 74th minute. He played his first game over the entire season on April 10, 2010 (30th matchday) in the 2: 4 defeat at Hannover 96 . Hao played a total of 19 competitive games in the Schalke jersey. National team

Hao Junmin belonged to the national team , which in 2003 at the U-17 World Cup in Finland participated. Two years later he took part with the U-20 squad at the Junior World Cup in the Netherlands , but after three wins in the group stage in the round of 16 , he was eliminated from the tournament with 2: 3 against Germany.

In 2005, Hao made his senior national team debut and was repeatedly used in friendly matches, but was not called up for the 2007 Asian Cup . In 2008, Hao played for China in the Olympic Football Tournament . In the international test match against Germany on May 29, 2009 , he scored a 1-0 lead in the fifth minute in a 1-1 draw. At the 2011 Asian Cup , Hao was used in all three group games.
