Harald Gunnar Paalgard (born May 24, 1950 in Denmark ) is a Danish cameraman .

Life

Harald Gunnar Paalgard studied film at the Swedish Dramatiska institutet in Stockholm . He then worked for a long time as a cameraman for commercials before making a feature film in 1979 with the Swedish drama Kejsaren directed by Jösta Hagelbäck . Since then he has made other feature films such as Angels of the Universe , The Legacy and As in Heaven in Danish , Norwegian and Icelandic films . For his work on Drømspel and Juloratoriet , he won the Swedish Guldbagge film award for best camera . In addition to two nominations for the Danish film award Robert for best camera , Paalgaard was also nominated once for the Icelandic film award Edda .
