Harald K. Hülsmann

Harald K. Hülsmann (born June 6, 1934 in Düsseldorf ; † July 2015 in Münster , North Rhine-Westphalia ) was a German writer who is also known by the pseudonyms Aldo Carlo , Michel Hinnack , Harry Holly and Saihoku .

Life

Harald K. Hülsmann worked from 1962 to 1997 as an administrative clerk in the social security system . In addition, an extensive literary work and graphic works were created.

He was primarily a writer of poems , in which he particularly the Japanese poetic form of senryu used. He also wrote short prose and essays .

Hülsmann was a member of the Association of German Writers , the PEN Center Germany , the authors' association Die Kogge , the circle of friends around Peter Coryllis and the Japanese group Akiaji-Sha . Among other things, he received a travel grant from the Foreign Office for Japan in 1981, the Japanese Senryu Prize for the River Weide in 1982 , the Hokkaido Senryu Prize in 1983 , a travel grant from the Foreign Office for Poland in 1988 and the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon in 1989 .

Harald K. Hülsmann died in mid-2015 a few weeks after his 81st birthday in Münster (Westphalia).
