Harry Styles
Harry Edward Styles (born February 1, 1994 in Redditch ) is a British singer , songwriter and actor . He became known in 2010 as a member of the boy band One Direction . He is also active as a solo singer; with Sign of the Times he reached the top of the British charts in 2017.
life and career
Styles was founded in 1994 as the son of Anne Cox and Desmond Styles in English born Redditch. His parents separated when he was seven years old, and he lived with his mother and older sister in Holmes Chapel from then on . In 2010 he took part in the casting show The X Factor and became a member of the boy group One Direction, which was founded there . He also got a role in Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk .
In April 2017 he released his first solo single Sign of the Times . The song reached number 1 on the UK charts. He sang Ever Since New York on Saturday Night Live . His debut album Harry Styles was released in May 2017 . In October 2019 Styles released the single Lights up , followed by Watermelon Sugar in November and Adore You in December . All three songs are extracts from the album Fine Line , which was released on December 13th.

Awards
Harry Styles received the NME Award in the Villain of the Year category in 2013 and 2014 , the MTV Europe Music Award in the Best Look category in 2013 , the Teen Choice Award in the Male Hottie category and the British Style Award . In 2018, his video for Sign of the Times was named British Artist Video of the Year.
