Harvey Sorgen (* 1957 ) is an American drummer and percussionist who specializes in jazz and rock music .

Worry started playing the drums in 1964 and then worked a. a. At the beginning of his career with Ahmad Jamal , Roswell Rudd , Bill Frisell as well as in the rock bands NRBQ , Hot Tuna and his own band The Mallards Sorge played from the 1980s a. a. with Betty MacDonald , Joe Fonda , Dave Douglas , Pete Levin , John Lindberg , Nicole Metzger , Herb Robertson and Mark Whitecage . He has formed a trio with Michael Jefry Stevens and Steve Rust since the mid-1990s. In the field of jazz he was involved in 44 recording sessions between 1979 and 2010.
