Upper course
The Hauser Bach rises as Coutmillegraben about 400 north of the village of Gimmenhausen in the municipality of Reichling .
After flowing through the Degenau marshland, the Coutmillegraben finally flows into the Oberhauser Weiher from the south .
At the north end, the brook, now known as Hauser Bach, leaves the pond in two strands that join immediately to the north in Oberhausen .
course
The stream then flows north, before it takes the Klingelbächel from the left shortly before Unterhausen .
After flowing through the forest areas of Malteser Holz and Buchholz, it makes a sharp bend to the east-north-east, before flowing into the Windach from the left, south-east of Obermühlhausen at 634 m.
The approximately 6.7 km long Hauser Bach flows about 71 meters below its origin and thus has a mean bed gradient of about 11 ‰.
