Havre de Grace is a city in Harford County in the state of Maryland in the United States . The name of the city goes back to the French port city of Le Havre .
geography
The town is located about 55 km northeast of Baltimore near the small town of Aberdeen (Maryland) at the confluence of the Susquehanna River in the Bay of Chesapeake . According to the United States Census Bureau Havre de Grace has an area of 17.85 km², of which 14.24 km² is land and 3.6 km² is water.
Attractions
Due to the delightful location of Havre de Graces at the end of Chesapeake Bay and the mouth of the Susquehanna River, it is quite important for tourism. There are several marinas, two small museums and a lighthouse along the coast.
