Hayden Argyle (born June 10, 1986 in Gore ) is a New Zealand ice hockey player who has played for Southern Stampede in the New Zealand Ice Hockey League since 2016 .

Career

Hayden Argyle began his career as a hockey player with the Canterbury Red Devils , for whom he made his debut in the founding season in 2005 in the New Zealand Ice Hockey League . In 2008 he moved to Southern Stampede for two seasons . He then returned to Canterbury and was New Zealand national champion with the red devils in 2012, 2013 and 2014. Since 2016 he has played again in Queenstown for the Southern Stampede and was able to achieve his championship four and five with the club in 2016 and 2017. In the 2007, 2008 and 2009 seasons he was named the best defender in the New Zealand League.

International

In the junior area, Argyle was in the squad of the New Zealanders at the U18 World Championships in 2002 in the Asia-Oceania Division and in 2003 and 2004 in Division III and in the U20 World Championships in 2004 and 2005 also in Division III.

With the New Zealand men's selection , Argyle took part in the World Championships of Division III in 2007 and 2009 and Division II in 2008 when he was voted the best player on his team.
