Origin of name

The name Heatherette is a combination of the first name Heather and the song Warm Leatherette from The Normal . Richie Rich said he was once "chased" by a girl named Heather, after which he and a friend called each other Heather for fun . So one evening in connection with the song Warm Leatherette (in this particular case in the version by Grace Jones ) the name Heatherette was born .
