Hebersdorf is a district of the municipality of Thanstein in the Upper Palatinate district of Schwandorf in Bavaria .

Geographical location

Hebersdorf is about one kilometer east of Thanstein and about two kilometers west of federal highway 22 .

history

Beginnings up to the 17th century

Hebersdorf (also: Hebreinsdorf, Höbersdorf, Höbersdorff) was mentioned in writing as early as the 14th century with a St. Peter's Church, which was occupied by a beneficiary . This church existed until the Reformation .

The Schönthal monastery was founded in the middle of the 13th century . From then on, many nobles made donations to this monastery. In 1443 Lienhart Aicharen donated his court in Hebersdorf to the monastery.

In 1582 Hebersdorf belonged to the parish of Thanstein, to which Otto von Ebleben had the right to present .

The tax book of 1631 recorded two farms for Hebersdorf, two Söldengütel , two houses, a resident , 10 cattle and a pig. During the Thirty Years War , a total of 6 properties in Hebersdorf were devastated and then lay desolate.

18th century to the present

In 1785 there were 5 subjects in Hebersdorf. At the end of the 18th century, the towns of Bach , Berg, Dautersdorf, Großenzenried , Hebersdorf, Jedbach, Kulz, Pillmersried , Tännesried, Thanstein and Zengeröd belonged to the Thanstein Hofmark . The owners were the Holnstein family .

At the beginning of the 19th century Hebersdorf had 45 houses, a tailor, two weavers and a carpenter and belonged to the tax district of Thanstein. In 1820 rural communities were formed. Thanstein with 43 families and Hebersdorf with 10 families formed a rural community.

As of March 23, 1913 (Easter), Hebersdorf was listed as part of the Thanstein parish with 10 houses and 48 residents. On December 31, 1990 Hebersdorf had 47 inhabitants and belonged to the parish of Thanstein.
