The Army Aviation Brigade 3 (HFlgBrig 3), based in Mendig, was a brigade of the German Armed Forces that was disbanded on December 31, 2007 and ultimately no longer led any troops. The helicopter regiments of Army Aviation Brigade 3 had been subordinate to the Air Mobile Operations Division since January 1, 2007 .
