Heikko Glöde (born July 12, 1961 in Berlin ) is a former German soccer player .

Player career

youth

As a child, Glöde went to the Berlin Olympic Stadium with his father and, according to his own words, was an "enthusiastic fan of Hertha BSC ." So it was not surprising that he really wanted to play there in his youth. However, he could not really assert himself with the old lady and he then switched to CFC Hertha 06 . This was followed by positions at SC Staaken and Tennis Borussia Berlin .

Time as a professional

At Tebe, Glöde then began his career as a professional footballer in the 1980/81 second division season and immediately played 21 games (3 goals). By merging the two seasons, however , the Charlottenburg missed relegation.

He then moved to the 1981/82 season in the Oberliga Berlin to the neighboring club SC Charlottenburg . With the newly promoted SCC Glöde just missed the march into the 2nd division.

The freshly minted first division team Hertha BSC took notice of him through good performances and signed Heikko Glöde in 1982. The blue-whites had to relegate immediately as the bottom of the league. Glöde had played 11 games in the elite league and scored twice. The targeted resurgence was clearly missed in 1983/84 in eleventh place. For Glöde, however, things went well personally and with 15 goals he was by far the best goalscorer of his team. The following season it went even worse and Hertha finished 14th. In 1986 , for the first time in the club's history, the descent into the third division followed.

Then in 1986 Glöde moved to VfL Osnabrück for 120,000 DM , where he was to experience his most successful period. He played for the Osnabrück team for four years as the undisputed regular player and was VfL's most successful goalscorer three times in a row: 1988 (15 goals), 1989 (10) and 1990 (18).

Through these strong performances, 1. FC Saarbrücken, coached by Klaus Schlappner , became aware of him and caused Glöde to be signed for 300,000 DM. However, Glöde couldn't get on with Schlappner and things only got better for him under Peter Neururer . In his second season with the Saarlanders Glöde rose to the first division. However, the FCS signed eleven new players and Heikko Glöde left the club.

For the season he moved to the second division club FC Remscheid . However, Glöde did not get along there either and only played twelve games without scoring. In addition, Remscheid was immediately relegated as 23rd. Then Glöde ended his professional career.

Coaching career

In 1994, Glöde and his former colleague Heiko Flottmann from Osnabrück, among others, acquired the football instructor license . He then returned to his hometown and in 1995 took over the A-Jugend from Hertha BSC.

In 2001 he moved to VfL Wolfsburg , where he trained the A-youth and qualified with them for the newly founded U-19 Bundesliga . In 2004 he was replaced as trainer by Jörg Drüke .

Glöde has a daughter and plays as a hobby in the traditional Hertha BSC team. He also runs the center for physiotherapy (fit & well by heikko glöde) in Berlin Neu Westend.
