The Heiligenloher Beeke is an eastern, orographically right-hand tributary of the Hunte . It belongs to the river system of the Weser .

course

The approximately 13 kilometers long Heiligenloher Beeke runs entirely in the area of the town of Twistringen ( district of Diepholz , Lower Saxony ). Coming from the direction of Mörsen , it flows through the Twistringen districts of Heiligenloh and Rüssen one after the other in an east-west direction and flows into the Hunte to the west at the city and district boundary to the district of Vechta near the Essemühle .

The NLWK writes: “ The Heiligenloher Beeke has straight lines from the source of the Mörser trench to the penultimate section before it flows into the Hunte. Above Heiligenloh, three kilometers of woodland are in a quarry forest . In the area of the last section before the Hunte, the Heiligenloher Beeke has a winding course. This last section therefore corresponds to structural quality class 3 (moderately changed). On the measurement table from 1978 this stretch of water is still shown with meandering lines. After that, straightening was carried out on at least two sections of the Heiligenloher Beeke. In the lower reaches of the Essemühle there is a fall of about 2.5 m. The structural quality of the approximately 13-kilometer-long Heiligenloher Beeke changes mainly between structural quality classes 6 (very much changed) and 5 (greatly changed). "
