Protection of healing springs

The ordinance on the protection of medicinal springs is intended to permanently protect the unique natural treasure of mineral water. In order to be able to implement the Stuttgart 21 project , the municipal water authority granted fourteen exemptions from the ordinance on the protection of mineral springs in the area where the mineral springs flow into the central palace garden alone. These exemptions from the provisions of the “Ordinance for the Protection of State-Recognized Medicinal Springs” are possible according to Section 8 (3) of the Ordinance for the “Public Welfare”.
