The Heilsbach is an approximately one kilometer long right tributary of the Sauer in the southern Palatinate .
course
The Heilsbach rises at an altitude of 248 m above sea level. NN in the western Wasgau in the forests of the Schönau state forest on the eastern slope of the Nestelberg . It flows about 250 m to the northeast and is then strengthened on its left by a small inlet. Its further course, partly seeping underground, now leads to the Heilsbach holiday colony , where it is dammed into three small ponds. It finally flows out at a height of 213 m above sea level. NN southeast of Fischbach near Dahn in the Königsbruchgraben , a right branch of the Saarbach .

The forest south of the Heilsbach holiday colony is an unevenly aged high forest with old trees ( red beeches and a few spruces ). Thrive on the sandy soil and a. the whitish grove and the forest grove and the grove bluegrass . In the partially strong position exposed wood living wood warblers .
In the forest on the Hohe Buckel north of the stream there are also oaks , and you can watch the nuthatch there .
