The Heimbach is a one and a half kilometer long watercourse in the southern Palatinate part of the Wasgau ( Rhineland-Palatinate ) and a left tributary of the Lauter , which is still called Wieslauter here on its upper course .

The Heimbach rises in Wasgau at an altitude of 229  m above sea level. NN on the southern edge of Dahn in the meadow field Hochwiesen-Woog . It initially flows in a green zone southwest on the southern edge of the village through the Heimbach-Woog corridor and then disappears east of a tennis court piped into the underground. After almost half a kilometer, it reappears on the surface in the spa park and forms the spa park lake there . It still crosses under the B 427 and finally flows out at an altitude of 203  m above sea level. NN from the left into the Wieslauter .
