Heinrich eye
Heinrich Auge (born February 3, 1898 in Recklinghausen , † February 21, 1977 there ) was a German SPD politician .
Life
Eye, of Roman Catholic faith, attended a teacher training seminar after graduating from secondary school and was an elementary school teacher since 1919, most recently as rector. In 1945 he was a co-founder of the Education and Science Union and honorary head of the legal protection department there. Auge was with Theodora, geb. Freyhoff, married and had three children.
Eye was a member of the German Bundestag from 1957 to 1969 . In 1957 he moved into parliament via the state list of the SPD North Rhine-Westphalia and won the direct mandate in the constituency of Recklinghausen-Stadt in 1961 and 1965 .
From 1952 to 1972, Auge was Lord Mayor of Recklinghausen.

- 1973: Large Cross of Merit with Star of the Federal Republic of Germany
- The Heinrich-Auge-Hauptschule and the Heinrich-Auge-Sporthalle in Recklinghausen are named after Auge .
