Christoph Tesche

Christoph Tesche (born March 31, 1962 ) is a German politician (CDU) and mayor of the city of Recklinghausen .

Life

After graduating from high school, Tesche did his military service from 1981 to 1983 before doing preparatory service for the higher-level non-technical administrative service in North Rhine-Westphalia from 1983 to 1986 .

From 1986 to 1997 Tesche held various functions in the areas of human resources and social affairs at the city of Münster , and from 1997 to 2000 he was first deputy and general representative of the city ​​director and full-time mayor of the city of Bad Lippspringe .

From July 1, 2000 to June 22, 2014, Tesche was first alderman, city treasurer, personnel, organization and economic department of the city of Recklinghausen.

In addition to his office as mayor, which Christoph Tesche has held as the successor to Wolfgang Pantförder since June 23, 2014 , he is managing director of Stadtbetriebe GmbH (SBR), Stadt-Entwicklungsgesellschaft (SER), City Management Recklinghausen GmbH and Stadtwerke Holding GmbH .

Tesche is married and has two children. He lives in Recklinghausen.
