Heinrich Güth

Heinrich Christian Güth (born April 25, 1858 in St. Johann ; † March 17, 1918 ibid) was a German architect who worked primarily in Saarbrücken and Saarland .

Güth is the son of a master roofer of the same name (1826–1900). From 1878 he studied mechanical engineering and architecture in Berlin, then from 1883 to 1889 at the Technical University of Hanover . Güth designed Protestant church buildings and residential buildings from the 1890s, mainly in his home in the Saarland. His most important work is the Johanneskirche Saarbrücken , his design was selected in 1892 in an architecture competition held throughout Germany.
