Heinrich Gottlieb von Lindenau

Heinrich Gottlieb von Lindenau , since 1765 Graf von Lindenau , (* 3. July 1723 , † 11. October 1789 in creators ) was electoral Saxon Real Privy Councilor , Chamberlain and Master of the Horse and owner of the manors Gotha and Kossen . He was born on 8. August 1765 in Vienna by the emperor in the imperial counts charged.

His father was Gottfried Anshelm von Lindenau (1693–1749) from the von Lindenau family , who owned the manors Machern and Zeititz . The mother was Christiane Elisabeth von Ziegler and Klipphausen (1700 / 01–1774).

From his step-grandfather, the captain Adolph Ernst von Berger, he bought his manors Gotha and Kossen on December 24, 1744 .

On May 2, 1754 he married Auguste Charlotte Verw. von Kühlewein, b. von Seydewitz (1729–1764). From this marriage the son Carl Heinrich August Graf von Lindenau emerged, through whose childless death the count's line of those of Lindenau died in the male line in 1842.

Through his marriage to the Kühlewein widow, Count von Lindenau came into joint ownership of the famous Auerbach cellar in the trade fair city of Leipzig .

When Dresden was bombed during the Seven Years' War , he lost his "chattels" there. Lindenau sold the feudal estates Gotha and Kossen, which were converted into inherited and allodial estates in 1761, to the secret war councilor Ernst Friedrich von Hagen in the same year.
