Heinrich Hofmann (politician)

Heinrich Christian Wilhelm Hofmann (born January 11, 1857 in Weyer ; † August 12, 1937 in Wiesbaden ) was a lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Hofmann attended grammar school in Weilburg from 1870 to 1875 and studied law and camera studies in Munich from 1875 to 1876 and in Berlin from 1876 to 1878. From 1879 he was a trainee lawyer in Selters , Diez , Limburg and Frankfurt am Main . Then from 1885 he was assessor in Diez and Neustadt in the government district of Kassel. From May 1, 1886 he was magistrate in Rennerod . He was one year old from 1879 to 1880 and retired as Premier-Lieutenant in the Landwehr . He was also chairman of the court of arbitration for disability and old-age insurance for the Westerburg district .

From 1893 to 1903 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency administrative district Wiesbaden 5 ( Dillkreis - Oberwesterwald ) and the National Liberal Party . From 1894 to 1908 he was also a member of the Prussian House of Representatives for the same constituency.
