Heinrich Kautz

Heinrich Kautz ( pseudonyms : Ida Gruiterman , Elisabeth Leithing , born February 14, 1892 in Hitdorf / Rhineland , † December 13, 1978 in Dormagen - Delhoven ) was a German educator and writer .

Life

Heinrich Kautz was a primary school teacher in Hamborn from 1912 to 1914 . He completed a degree in education , philosophy and history at the University of Cologne and received his doctorate in 1928 with a thesis on industrial education . He then worked as a teacher and lecturer at the " German Institute for Scientific Education " in Münster . He later worked as a publishing and magazine editor in Düsseldorf , Duisburg and Donauwörth .

In addition to pedagogical, religious pedagogical and theological treatises (including on the mystic Anna Katharina Emmerick ), Heinrich Kautz wrote narrative books for young people with a Catholic tendency. He also translated young people's books from French and Dutch under the pseudonyms "Ida Gruiterman" and "Elisabeth Leithing" .
