Life

Heinrich Leopold initially obtained his doctorate in law and political science and spent several years as a commercial attaché on behalf of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce in Moscow , New York City and Kinshasa . In 1999 he began studying philosophy and cultural anthropology in Vienna and Berlin and prepared with Konrad Liessmann , Alfred Pfabigan , Stephan Haltmayer , Franz Martin Wimmer , Hartmut Böhme and Sybille Krämer for a work on the German cultural philosopher Jean Gebser , with his profound work Investigations into the archaic and mythical heritage of human nature he was intimately familiar with from his youth. His dissertation , submitted to the University of Vienna in 2005, is entitled: Globalization and Integral Consciousness. Interrelationships according to the Eteology of Jean Gebser . Heinrich Leopold left behind only a narrow literary work, which, however, in its proximity to poetry (poems) as well as to the Viennese linguistic spirit ( aphorism ) shows an extraordinary formal range and also testifies to the ability to precisely link intellectual history traditions with a socially relevant topic (the Publication via Jean Gebser).

Leopold was buried in the Stubenrauchstrasse municipal cemetery in Berlin-Friedenau .
