Heinrich Moritz von Berlepsch

Heinrich Moritz Freiherr von Berlepsch (* August 27, 1736 ; † December 3, 1809 ) was the last Landkomtur of the Deutschordensballei Thuringia from 1795 to 1809 .

He was the son of Erich Volckmar von Berlepsch (1707–1749) and Johanna Eleonora von Brühl and nephew of the Saxon Prime Minister Heinrich Graf von Brühl . In 1755 Berlepsch became the Landkomtur of Zwätze , Lehesten , Liebstedt and Nägelstedt . In 1758 he was made a knight of the Deutschordensballei Hessen . 1779–1794 he officiated as Komtur zu Ober-Flörsheim .

He was a royal Polish and electoral Saxon chamberlain and colonel , German master secret council . Berlepsch is buried in Zwätze.
