Heinrich Otto Widmann

Heinrich Otto Widmann , from 1910 Widmann , (* 7. January 1853 in Ehningen ; † 18th March 1944 in Trossingen ) was württembergischer bailiff and later from 1920 to 1924 President of the Government of the Neckar circle .

The son of a teacher initially completed a low administrative career and then studied law and political science at the University of Tübingen from 1876 , where he became a member of the Academic Association Virtembergia. After the second state examination, from 1880 he was state assistant at the Balingen regional office and actuarial administrator at three other higher offices . In 1881 he came as a bailiff for Oberamt Künzelsau . In 1883 he moved to the government of the Neckar District in Ludwigsburg , where he became a government assessor in 1886. In 1888 he was appointed senior magistrate at the Münsingen District Office , and in 1893 at the Geislingen District Office . As a member of the government , he took up the position of senior bailiff at the Heilbronn district office in 1894 . In 1896 he moved again to the Government of the Neckar circle in Ludwigsburg, where he became 1902 upper government , 1916 Government Director and in 1920 the provincial government was appointed. After the wuerttemberg central authorities were abolished, he was retired in 1924.

Honors, ennobling

Heinrich Otto Widmann was awarded the Knight's Cross 1st Class of the Order of Frederick in 1900 . In 1910 he received the Cross of Honor of the Order of the Württemberg Crown , which was associated with the personal title of nobility.
