The measurements of the Catholic Court Church in Dresden came from Stöckhardt . In the following years he created many villas and palaces as well as the interior design of the former Putbus Castle . He was particularly well known for his wells, the Gänselieselbrunnen in Göttingen , the western Angerbrunnen in Erfurt , formerly known as the “Monumentalbrunnen”, and the Moses Mendelssohn fountain monument in Dessau, the latter two of which were designed together with the sculptor Heinz Hoffmeister . He had also won the competition for the design of the Mende fountain in Leipzig in 1882, but was then disregarded.
