Heinrich Tilly

Heinrich Tilly (born May 10, 1931 in Telfs ) is an Austrian sculptor and painter .

Heinrich Tilly attended the Kunstgewerbeschule in Innsbruck from 1948 to 1952 and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna from 1954 to 1960 . In 1960 he passed the teaching examination for art education. For many years he taught as an art teacher at the Federal High School in St. Johann in Tirol . As an artist he created wall paintings, frescoes , sgraffiti , sculptures in bronze and stone, small sculptures made of wood and nativity scenes . In addition, he often dealt with the Telfer Fasnacht and wrote the stage work Mohr von Hörtenberg .
