Heinrich von Bokholt (* in Lübeck ; † 1346 probably there) was councilor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.

Life

Heinrich von Bokholt was a son of the Lübeck citizen Siegfried von Bokholt and grandson of the Lübeck councilor Siegfried von Bokholt , who was occupied from 1256 to 1272 . From 1308 to 1346 he was a councilor in Lübeck. From 1327 he was head of the St. John's Monastery of the Cistercian Sisters in Lübeck.

His uncle, the Lübeck bishop Heinrich II. Bochholt appointed him as one of his executors ; The mayors of Lübeck, Eberhard von Alen and Marquard von Coesfeld , were further executors of Bishop Heinrich II's will .

Since 1323 he had lived in the property on Wahmstrasse 36 in Lübeck and owned a share in Roggenhorst . Of his sons, Heinrich became dean of the cathedral chapter in Lund , Sweden , Lorenz canon in Schleswig and Gerhard councilor in Greifswald . A daughter of Bokholt who was not named by name married the Lübeck councilor Johann Constantin . His daughter Adelheid married the Lübeck councilor Arnold Wlome and his daughter Hille married the Lübeck councilor Wedekin Klingenberg .

The councilor Siegfried von Bokholt (councilor, 1290) was his brother.
