Heinrich von Dassow , also Dartzow ( bl. 1308–1332) was 1310–1315 provost of the Rehna nunnery , 1321 canon of Lübeck , since 1325 canon of Schwerin .

Life

Heinrich von Dassow was the owner of the parish of Kirchdorf zu Poel in the diocese of Lübeck from December 22, 1308 to January 28, 1309 , which he had previously exchanged for the parish of Kotelow in the diocese of Cammin . He then exchanged these for the parish in Dassow in the Ratzeburg diocese , which he held until November 24, 1320.

As provost he was occupied from March 22, 1310 to January 20, 1315 in the Benedictine monastery in Rehna, where he became the owner of a vicarie in the local church on March 18, 1313. From March 27, 1320 to January 25, 1324 he was vicar general of Bremen's Archbishop Jens Grand . In the suffragan bishops he was denied recognition of his office as vicar general on May 2, 1320. In connection with the disputes in the Bremen archdiocese , he announced on November 22, 1320 the suspension of the bishops of Lübeck and Schwerin, Heinrich II. Von Bochholt and Hermann II. Von Maltzan .

From April 14, 1320 to January 5, 1321 Heinrich von Dassow was named as pastor in the St. Marienkirche in Wismar .

Pope John XXII. awarded Heinrich on July 26, 1321 a canonical with expectance to a cathedral priest and the cathedral choir in Lübeck . On September 25, 1325 Heinrich was ready to resign to the Lübeck Kantorei for the provost office of the Ramelsloh collegiate monastery near Lüneburg . Since he could not obtain this, he remained cantor in Lübeck until July 31, 1333. Heinrich became the Schwerin canon on February 22, 1325, but without income. Therefore he litigated on September 25, 1325 with the Schwerin cathedral chapter for a canonical and a prebend. On December 7, 1325 he was then by Pope John XXII. Provided with a canonical and a major diploma, but should give up the legal dispute over a minor diploma.

In Hamburg, Heinrich also received a commission for a canonical and a prebend on February 22, 1325, and on December 7, 1325 he was still eligible for the scholastic office there. On August 24, 1329 he received an entitlement to a canon position in the cathedral chapter of Cammin .

In addition to these offices, Heinrich Dassow worked on various occasions in the service of the Pope. In the years 1325, 1326 and 1327 he was entrusted with the execution of papal commissions, not as a member of the Schwerin cathedral chapter. In 1325 he was assigned papal curators as guardians. Heinrich himself was also appointed conservator of the Bremen church on May 23, 1332 as Lübeck cantor .
