Heinrich von Planck
Georg Heinrich Planck , von Planck from 1914 , (born May 27, 1851 in Esslingen am Neckar ; † April 25, 1932 in Ulm ) was prelate and general superintendent of Ulm.
Life
Planck first attended schools in Esslingen and Stuttgart before completing the Blaubeuren Evangelical Theological Seminar from 1865 to 1869 . This was followed by a study of theology at the Tübingen monastery . During his studies in 1869 he became a member of the Normannia Tübingen Association . From 1874 he worked as a clergyman, first in Neubulach , then in Ulm . In 1877/1878 he made a study trip through Central and Western Europe . He then became a repetitee at the Tübingen monastery. In 1880 he moved to Esslingen as a clergyman, where he was appointed dean in 1901 .
In 1912 he was appointed prelate and superintendent general of Ulm . In this function he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Württemberg Land estates from 1912 to 1918 . From 1918 he became a member of the Evangelical Church Government , and in 1927 he retired .
In addition to his work as a clergyman, he chaired several social associations.

- 1910 Knight's Cross 1st Class of the Order of Frederick
- 1914 Cross of Honor of the Order of the Württemberg Crown , which was associated with the elevation to the personal nobility ( ennoblement )
- 1927 Honorary doctorate ( Dr. theol. Hc ) from the University of Tübingen
