Heinz-Eugen Schramm

Heinz-Eugen Schramm (born December 22, 1918 in Ulm ; † December 22, 1998 in Tübingen ) was a German author and editor . He published books that are predominantly dialect and have a geographical connection to the Alemannic-Swabian language area. Schramm was the editor of the Swabian homeland calendar .

Life

Schramm studied in Tübingen, where he became a member of the Hohenstaufia gymnastics association . In 1952, he was there with a thesis on the dialect poet Michel Buck to Dr. phil. PhD . In 1966 he published a work "in which the so-called 'Swabian greeting' is traced back to pre-Christian defensive magic".

Götz-von-Berlichingen-Academie

In the 1960s, Schramm founded a Götz-von-Berlichingen Academy “to research and maintain the Swabian greeting” . A prominent member was Gustav von Gemmingen, Member of the Bundestag, of whom Schramm said, “It would be very good if Mr. von Gemmingen in Bonn intervened and shocked people with this quote. In nice form, of course, ”because“ it would not be a mistake if Götzen's spirit also wafted through the Bundestag . ”Schramm gave the baptismal address when his son was baptized in the name of Götz.
