Heinz Goebel

Heinz Göbel (born August 8, 1947 in Salzburg ; † November 16, 2013 in Frankenburg am Hausruck , Upper Austria ) was an Austrian painter and graphic artist .

Live and act

Heinz Göbel lived and worked in Frankenburg am Hausruck together with Maria Moser . The two are parents of two children. His daughter Lena Göbel works as a freelance artist in Frankenburg and Vienna .

From 1967 to 1972 he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna with Maximilian Melcher . In 1974/75 he spent nine months in Egypt with Maria Moser on a scholarship. He was a member of the Künstlerhaus Wien and the Upper Austrian Art Association .

Heinz Göbel succumbed to a cerebral haemorrhage on November 16, 2013 at the age of 66 .

Works

Göbel has presented his works at numerous solo and group exhibitions since 1990.

In his works, landscapes form a central theme and radiate a strikingly emotional atmosphere. In 2010 he designed a colored glass window in the neo-Gothic church in Schwanenstadt .
