Heinz Lund (born May 31, 1925 in Lübeck ; † May 3, 2016 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life

Lund passed the Abitur at the Johanneum zu Lübeck and studied philology at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel . From 1959 to 1964 he was state chairman of the Young Socialists in the SPD in Schleswig-Holstein . He taught at the Katharineum in Lübeck and was the initiator of the evening high school in Lübeck and the first comprehensive school in the Hanseatic city.

In the election for Lübeck citizenship on March 11, 1962, Lund was directly elected in constituency 12.

In 1962 and 1967 Lund entered the state parliament of Schleswig-Holstein via the SPD state list ; In 1971 and 1975 he was directly elected in the Lübeck-Mitte state electoral district. In 1969 Lund took part in the 5th Federal Assembly. He was a member of the state parliament until October 31, 1978; Herbert Nonnsen moved up for him .

Lund was a full-time school senator for the Hanseatic City of Lübeck from 1978 to 1990 ;

His honorary posts included chairing the AWO district association in Lübeck from 1980 to 1983 and being a member of the board of the AWO state association Schleswig-Holstein from 1980 to 1986.

In 2009 Lund was honored with the SPD's golden badge of honor for 50 years of party membership. Björn Engholm praised him : "Heinz Lund is a person with care and prudence in the best 'Lübscher style'."

Lund was married with four children and lived in Sereetz . From 1994 to 1998 he was the head of the village of Sereetz as an honorary officer of the Ratekau community. From 1993 to 1996 he headed the adult education center in Sereetz.
