Helga Oberloskamp

Helga Oberloskamp (* 1943 in Troppau ) is a German lawyer and professor emeritus for civil law with a focus on family and youth law .

Life

Helga Oberloskamp studied law at the Philipps University in Marburg , the Université de Genève in Geneva and the University of Bonn . 1972 she was in Bonn with the work of the substantive requirements marriage - a comparative juxtaposition of French, English and German law doctorate .

She taught at the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne from 1996 until her retirement in 2008. Before that, she had lectured at the Catholic University of Applied Sciences in Cologne since 1975 with interruptions . During this time, she also held various visiting professorships in Warsaw and Québec .

Her areas of expertise include parental custody and the state's legal care for minors, adoption and youth welfare as well as care for adults. One of her other areas of study is international child, youth and family law. The intended creation of the social lawyer can be traced back to their efforts .

In addition to her work as a lecturer at the university, Helga Oberloskamp was also very committed to international cooperation between various faculties. It is largely thanks to their efforts that there has been a partnership between the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences and the Institute for Social Policy at the University of Warsaw (Uniwersytet Warszawski) since 1991 . In addition, from 2002 onwards she built up a further cooperation with the Faculty of Social Policy at the Mykolas Romeris University in Vilnius , so that the binational cooperation (German-Polish) became a trinational cooperation (German-Polish-Lithuanian).

Since her retirement she has been active as a lecturer with further training in practice and also as a writer. Ms. Oberloskamp lives in the Eifel .
