Heli-Expo
The Heli-Expo is a four-day, annual trade fair for helicopters and accessories that has been held since 1946. It takes place within the USA at different locations every year. The fair is organized by Helicopter Association International , an international helicopter association. 20,393 visitors from all over the world took part in the Heli-Expo 2013 and around 736 exhibitors were represented.
Function of the fair
The main purpose of the fair is to offer exhibitors advertising space and inform visitors about innovations in their industry, which can be read from the slogans of every fair, which always begin with connect . The slogan for 2013 was connect, engage, and succeed and in 2014 it will be connect, discover, and view . The Heli-Expo is not infrequently used for product launches or to draw attention to other innovations in the companies represented, such as company mergers or new collaborations. It is considered to be one of the most important helicopter fairs worldwide.
target group
The Heli-Expo is aimed at professionals from the helicopter industry. In addition to owners of helicopters, employees from sales and marketing as well as other professionals from the industry ( pilots , maintenance staff, etc.) also visit the fair. Just over 80 percent of them come from the USA, the remaining 20 percent are made up of visitors from around the world.
