Helmut Lutz (born March 28, 1941 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German sculptor and author of mystery games.

Life

Lutz studied from 1958 to 1961 at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe with Hans Meyboden and Emil Wachter . He has been working in Breisach am Rhein since 1971 . From 1978 to 1982 he created the sculpture stage “Sternenweg” there together with the “Breisach School”, which he directed. The facility, used as a site for mystery games, also went on tour through European cities and Jerusalem from 1982 until it finally found its place in Sarajevo in 2005.

Lutz designed more than 35 churches in Germany and other countries, often with overall concepts that he designed, which include existing and new sculptures, wall design and architectural elements.
