Helmut Zeiner (born February 8, 1987 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Zeiner began his career at SV Schwechat . In 1995 he moved to FC Admira / Wacker , which was renamed SCN Admira / Wacker in 1996 . For the 1997/98 season he moved to the youth team of FK Austria Wien . After six years in the youth team of Austria, he switched to the youth team of city rivals SK Rapid Wien in summer 2003 , where he played until 2006.

In August 2005 he made his debut for the amateurs of Rapid in the Vienna City League when he came on as a substitute for Ümit Korkmaz on the second match day of the 2005/06 season against SV Wienerberger in the 80th minute . He scored his first goal in the fourth-highest division in June 2006 in a 3-2 win against DSV Fortuna 05 . At the end of the season he was promoted to the regional league with Rapid II .

After the rise, Zeiner moved to the 2006/07 season for regional league club SC Ritzing . He made his debut in the Regionalliga in August 2006 when he was in the starting line-up against the amateurs of VfB Admira Wacker Mödling on the first day of the season and was replaced by Mario Seckel in the 81st minute. In that game he also scored the goal to make it 2-0 for the Burgenlanders. Until the end of the season he was used in every Ritzing regional league game and scored four goals. At the end of the season he had to relegate with the club as bottom of the table from the regional league.

He then joined the regional league team SC Eisenstadt for the 2007/08 season . In his six months in the capital of Burgenland, he made a total of 14 appearances in the regional league. In the winter break of that season he left Eisenstadt and moved to the second division club SC Austria Lustenau . In April 2008 he made his debut for Lustenau in the second division when he was substituted on for Martin Dorner on the 26th matchday of that season against FC Kärnten in the 85th minute . By the end of the season he had two appearances for the pros from Lustenau in the second highest division, and he also played ten games for the club's amateurs in the Vorarlberg League .

After half a year at Lustenau, he moved to the regional league team SC Zwettl for the 2008/09 season . For Zwettl he was used in nine regional league games, in which he scored two goals. After half a season at Zwettl, he joined the fourth-class FC Mistelbach in January 2009 . For Mistelbach he was used in 14 games in the state league and scored two goals. For the 2009/10 season he moved to the fifth class ASK Schwadorf . After half a year with Schwadorf, he moved to the regional league team Floridsdorfer AC in January 2010 . For the Viennese he made twelve goalless appearances in the Regionalliga Ost by the end of the season.

For the 2010/11 season Zeiner joined the fourth-class ASC Götzendorf . In his one and a half years with Götzendorf, he completed a total of 45 games in the fourth-highest division, in which he was able to score nine goals. In addition, he reached the second round with the club in the 2011/12 season after a win against the second division SKN St. Pölten in the ÖFB Cup , in which they failed with a 3-2 defeat at the Bundesliga club SV Ried . Zeiner was able to score the goal of the interim 1-0 lead for the national division in that game.

In January 2012 he returned to the meanwhile fourth class ASK Schwadorf. For Schwadorf he was used in 14 games by the end of the season, in which he scored three goals. For the 2012/13 season, Zeiner moved to the seventh-class ASK Marienthal . In the summer of 2013 he moved one league lower to the eight-class SV Mitterndorf , with whom he was able to become champion of the 2nd class East / Middle and thus move up to the 1st class . In January 2015 he moved to the fourth-class ASV Spratzern for six months , for which he should play six games in the regional league. For the 2015/16 season he joined the sixth class ASK Mannersdorf . With Mannersdorf he was able to become champions of the regional league south / south-east and thus move up to the 2nd regional league at the end of the season .

After the promotion, he joined the seventh-class SC Himberg in the summer of 2016 . In autumn 2017, Zeiner briefly acted as player-coach for Himberg, before he was replaced by Patrick Fürst.

Personal

Zeiner has two brothers, his brother Michael (* 1991) worked as a soccer player for various clubs in the regional league . His father of the same name, better known as Slim Heli , is a well-known tattoo artist of soccer players.
