Hendrik Hansen (political scientist)
Hendrik Hansen (* 1966 ) is a German political scientist . Since 2019 he has been Professor of Political Extremism and the History of Political Ideas in the Intelligence Services Department of the Federal University for Public Administration .
Life
Hansen studied after graduating from high school in 1984 at the French Gymnasium Berlin economics , political science and philosophy at the Technical University of Berlin (graduate economist in 1991), the Free University of Berlin and the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (Maîtrise ès sciences économiques 1988). In 1998 he was at the Economics Faculty of the Technical University of Freiberg for Dr. rer. pole. PhD. In 2007 he completed his habilitation in political science at the University of Passau . In 2008/09 he was professor for political theory and the history of ideas at the Political Science Faculty of the University of Erfurt and in 2010/11 for methods of political science at the Institute for Political Science at the University of Regensburg . Since 2011 he has been Professor of International and European Politics and Public Administration at the Faculty of Comparative Politics and Law of the Andrássy University in Budapest . In 2012 he became dean of the faculty and in 2013 he became an adjunct professor at the Philosophical Faculty of the University of Passau. From March 2014 to March 2017 he was Vice Rector of the Andrássy University Budapest. He is u. a. Co-editor of the series Andrassy Studies on European Studies ( Nomos Verlag ), member of the editorial board of A Modern History of Politics and Violence ( Bloomsbury Publishing ), advisory board member of the journal Compass: Political Religions ( Wiley-Blackwell ) and member of the advisory board of the European Center of Babeş- Bolyai University Cluj in Romania.
