Henneberg is a Franconian hamlet in the town of Velden in the Treuf district .

geography

It is one of eight parts of the municipality of Velden and is located about five kilometers west-northwest of Velden at an altitude of 480 m .

history

Due to the administrative reforms in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century , the place became part of the rural community Treuf. As part of the regional reform in Bavaria , the place was incorporated into Velden on January 1, 1972. Together with the Steigenhof wasteland attributed to him , Henneberg had 40 inhabitants in 1987.

The listed half-timbered barn

On the eastern outskirts of Henneberg there is a half-timbered barn from the 19th century. In the Bavarian list of monuments it is listed as an architectural monument with the number D-5-74-160-27 .
