Henri Beyens

Henri Beyens ( 1932 - April 30, 2018 ) was a Belgian diplomat , most recently with the rank of ambassador .

Life

Henri Beyens joined the foreign service in 1957. In 1965, Henri Beyens was first class embassy secretary in Havana . He was accredited in Paris , Islamabad , Tokyo , Rio de Janeiro and The Hague . From 1987 to 1991 Henri Beyens was ambassador to Prague . At UNESCO in Paris he got involved in the celebration of the 400th birthday of Anthony van Dyck . Henri Beyens' ambassador uniform has been on display in the Musée Royal de l'Armée since spring 2005 .
