Henry Joseph Soenneker (born May 27, 1907 in Melrose , Minnesota , USA ; † September 24, 1987 ) was Bishop of Owensboro .

Life

Henry Joseph Soenneker received on 26 May 1934, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On March 10, 1961, Pope John XXIII appointed him . to the Bishop of Owensboro. The Bishop of Saint Cloud , Peter William Bartholome , donated him episcopal ordination on April 26 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Duluth , Francis Joseph Schenk , and the Bishop of Sioux City , Joseph Maximilian Mueller .

On June 30, 1982, Pope John Paul II accepted Henry Joseph Soenneker's resignation because of his age.
