Jessica Henwick
Jessica Henwick (born August 30, 1992 in Surrey , England ) is a British actress .
life and career
Jessica Henwick was born in Surrey to an Englishman and a Singaporean . She trained as an actress at the Red Roofs Youth Theater and the National Youth Theater .
She has been an actress since 2010, after being hired for the role of Bo in the BBC series Spirit Warriors in 2009 . For this role she learned the Wushu martial art.
This was followed by guest appearances in British television series, u. a. in Silk - Robes made of silk and Lewis - The Oxford crime thriller and minor supporting roles in films. Her roles in 2015 made her internationally known. Until 2017, she played the role of Nymeria Sand in the HBO series Game of Thrones . Also in 2015 she was part of the cast of Star Wars: The Force Awakens with the role of Jessika Pava .
In 2017, she took on the role of Colleen Wing in the series Marvel's Iron Fist , which she played until the dismissal after the second season . She was also seen in this role in Marvel's The Defenders and Marvel's Luke Cage . She can be seen as a commentator in the documentary Iron Fists and Kung Fu Kicks (2019) by Serge Ou.
In November 2018, it was announced that she would be eligible for a role in Godzilla vs. Kong , which will be released in 2020.
