The hep publisher is a Swiss publishing house based in Bern .
The main focus of the publishing activities is the publication of textbooks and specialist books on subject areas of pedagogy . The focus is on teaching and learning media for upper secondary level , tertiary level and continuing education .
Hep Verlag currently has over 400 titles. He is one of the first textbook publishers to focus strategically on digital teaching aids and publisher of the first interactive teaching aids for general education (ABU) for vocational students in Switzerland.
The authors and editors include Hans Rudolf Christen , Rolf Dubs , Philipp Gonon , Elisabeth Gusdek Petersen , Werner Hartmann , Peter Labudde , Paul Ott and Rudolf H. Strahm .

Hep Verlag was founded in 2000. In 2005, hep verlag took over the program from Ott Verlag , Thun. Hep Verlag is based in Bern.
In 2012, hep Verlag received the Worlddidac Award for two digital teaching media, the “eLehrmittel ABU” and the “App Volkswirtschaftslehre”.
