Herbelles ( Flemish : Hardbere ) is a former French commune in the department of Pas-de-Calais in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belonged to the arrondissement of Saint-Omer and the canton of Fruges (until 2015: canton of Aire-sur-la-Lys ).

With effect from September 1, 2016, it was merged with the former municipality of Inghem to form Commune nouvelle Bellinghem . Herbelles is a commune déléguée with 538 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) within the new municipality.

Herbelles is located about ten kilometers south-southwest of Saint-Omer and about 32 kilometers west-northwest of Béthune . Herbelles is surrounded by the neighboring towns of Pihem in the north, Inghem in the northeast, Clarques in the east, Thérouanne in the southeast, Delettes in the south and Cléty in the west.
